Methodist Health System Foundation In 2018 North Texas Ace Foundation made a $50,000.00 donation to the Methodist Health System Foundation. This donation will help support the Folsom Leadership Program with its focus on a new oncology unit at Methodist Charlton Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Parkland Health & Hospital System Over the last seven years, North Texas Ace Foundation has been a Safety Awareness Sponsor at the annual Broders ER Golf Classic in Dallas, Texas. This sponsorship has contributed to saving the lives of over 800 children by providing car booster seats. University of Texas Southwestern Medical School North Texas Ace Foundation donated $11,000.00 for the Emergency Medicine Program. For the last 21 years, the Broders ER Golf Classic has raised over $850,000 for various Parkland Foundation programs including the Injury Prevention Center, the Public Health Preparedness Fund, the Global Diabetes Program, and SPARKS. This year, the Broders Classic is excited to once again support Parkland’s Pet Therapy Program. The funds raised from the 22nd annual tournament will impact the health and well-being of hundreds of Parkland providers and caregivers. The Rebecca Keel Memorial Scholarship honors Becky Keel, a former medical scribe with PhysAssist Scribes, Inc., who lost her life in a tragic car accident in 2015. At only 22, Becky was a remarkable individual who accomplished an incredible amount while touching so many people in her circle. Pictured here on her first day with PhysAssist Scribes, her ebullience, energy, and amazing nature shine through. Becky was passionate, adventurous, bright, a go-getter and a huge dreamer. A true leader, she lived her life to the fullest academically, through recreation, and through her work; she never let any obstacle stand in her way. She loved animals, rescuing many, and aspired to move to Australia one day where she hoped to care for wildlife small and large. When it came to friends, family, and co-workers, Becky was always there to lend a hand or an ear, no matter what was tasked of her.
